What role did you have in the film?

Producer/Writer. I am a also motivational speaker on Positive Lifestyle Choices (Bullying, Goal Setting, Drug abuse).

What was the best part of the Production?

I always enjoy the casting phase and working with new faces. Although we had a few actors from the recent production (The Instigator), I was pleased with all of the talent.

What inspired you to write The Influence?

My oldest brother had a severe drug addiction in his adolescent years, which affected the entire family. After our family dealt with the situation, it was great to be a part helping him through the difficult phase of rehab. He was an Influence for me as I grew older, but unfortunately he took the wrong path. His story inspired me to write a script relating to the situation.

What do you hope this film accomplishes?

My goal is to distribute this short film (The Influence) as an educational resource for North American teachers. I hope it sends the heartfelt and important message that drugs are dangerous and how important it is to realize that “Your friends will either make you or break you!”

What are your future plans?

After the distribution phase of Role Model is started, my goal is to work on another project surrounding the youth.
